you don't need service manual for that - installation manual has it all about this... I have it, but not in digital form.

First of all you have to check that ink tubes are attached to heads. It is very important to check that.
First time installation procedure is must do that, because they unscrew ink tubes in factory.
If your have second hand machine, tubes doesn't have to be unscrewed. Check it!

And of course be sure that head carriage is not fixed to machine.

If this is first time installation of new machine, wait that someone send you installation or service manual...

So, if this is second hand machine, and those two things (ink tubes screwed and head carriage not fixed to machine) are checked and cleared and if you are sure that you know what you are doing do following:

1. power on machine while pressing shift and cancel!

2. press: shift, up, down and left

3. turn off machine

4. power it on normally

5. load material

6. perform ink charge

for ink charge do this:

a) go offline

b) press: cancel, shift, cancel, cancel

c) then you have to put password for maintenance mode: shift, up, down and left

d) here you will see H.MNTE (head maintenance), enter it by pressing down

e) find ink charge and press enter

this engine error is just the internal calendar has counted a down period of greater than 1 month.

turn the power on whilst holding down shift/canc, and then enter the password when prompted, being shift, up, down, right.

turn the power off and then turn it back on and all should be ok
