When I print anything dark colour (especially red, blue, green, etc) definitely 'll get white dots. we tried to clean the heads with solution by firing. But still continuing the very same problem.
Recently in test print Cyan got lot of white dots, slightly Light Cyan & Magenta aslo.
Sometimes, it's very bad............try to give me a better advice for this problem.
have you tried using a different media. i've seen white dots and it's normally when the media is either too hot or incompatably with whats going on to it.
U saying the media too hot, ok, i'll check it that may be it could be a problem coze we arranged our media rolls under neith of the air cooler, now outside temp is between 5 to 8, that's why we put our temp a bit high.
If i'm using the same roll for printing, after 3 to 5 meter 'll get inside portion of the media, isn't it? then we got media without hot...........but in this case aslo getting white dots,

Suppose i'm using one fresh roll (this roll from our store, not taking near by the air cooler) in this case also we getting white dots, if we done one normal cleaning it's gettng very bad....
I get white dots every once in a while on various rolls. They usually disappear within a few feet. I fihure it's just crap on the roll from manufacturing. Try a roll from a different manufacturer or a different product altogether or just peel a yard or two off roll and try to print again.
try using the "highlight" option rather than the normal selection.
are these actual white dots where the ink has not taken to the media or are they little pockets of air that has been spat out of the nozzles rather than ink?
If you have a seiko colorpainter you are NOT supposed to turn off the machine. It has a cycle that every hour or so pulls a little ink through the tubes so as not to let them dry out. Whoever you got this from should have told you this...
