I need a little assistance on the ink heads because I have some kind of problem with the head voltage.
My enquiry is: That the magenta ink previous head and even a new one just replaced when I enter the correct voltages of L and R is just printing with very few nozzles, when I increase the voltage it prints better but eventually there will be ink starvation. I have changed the dampers, new washers and new head but problem remains. Caps seems sealed and when I switch on the pump in maintanence mode ink is pumping ok to the ink head.
Hi Voltage should be in not more than 1-1.5v more.it's also depand on room temp, if the temp is low than the voltage should be high, Your problem can cause by many things like: ink, temp, air leak
I keep tempreture in the room 27 deg c. I am noticing some air at the top part of that rigid tube of the head where the ink tube is connected. Could this mean something? Apart, I could not see no air bubbles from connection to head above.
Hi Mario You should not see air on tubes after cleaning, There is a small rubber band in the tube check it, Check the subtanks they shuld be full, lower the head to the lowest posion. ziv
The problem I have is on the Magenta head. The voltages on the head are 15.5 for L and 15.8 for R. Now, when I enter these which are the correct voltages of the head it will fire from very few nozzles, and if I increase the voltage say around 3v on each, more nozzles will fire ink, but very shaky. Now what Im positive about is the head is ok and electric cable attached transmits data ok. Ink pump is changed, and also damper is replaced. The ink tubes looks find as I cannot see no air bubbles nowhere. Capping seems ok. I also changed to a new cartridge of ink and the problem remains.
Do you have any idea what could be the cause please?
