Convert Seiko SCSI interface to USB (HP 9000)

confuseA tech friend suggested that I could try converting the SCSI interface to the USB interface of the HP 9000. Right now, I don't even have a SCSI plug, nor the card in my computer, so that sounds quite appealing.

Has anyone here done (or attempted) this - I'd appreciate your comments.
Thanks and Happy Holidays!

I'll get into that in a while, i'm gonna finish using my Seiko cartridges first.
I do think that we only have to swap the main board and ... the cartridges of course.

I did noticed that most of the pc-boards in the 9000s have the Seiko name printed on them so...

I'll let you know.. unless you find before me !!

Appreciate your offer, but really not sure if the 10000 & 9000 share the same firmware. If I find out I'll let you know.
Thanks.
