Help ghosting print issue

Hi! I run a CP64s and recently have begun to see strange ghosting in my prints. On most prints in the first foot or so a line of the graphic will be printed in one color (usualy Lc or Lm, but ive had K and Y too) anywhere from a few milimeters to an inch below where it is supposed to print. I found a few posts by other users with a similar issue and it was suggested that it could be a SCSI issue and the remedy was to change the SCSI speed from 160 to 40, which I did to no avail. Does anyone know of a solution to this issue?

Attached is a photo of the problem.photo.JPG

Based on what i see on your picture attached, I looks like ink the is coming off the bottom of your carriage. Such as excess ink that has built up around the outside of the heads.

Hi

New to solvent printing and have just purchased a 64s with all sorts of problems but a fix for odd ghosting problems was to clean the encoder strip which is a plastic strip with tiny graduations printed on it, which is located along the top of the beam which the carriage runs along. You have to remove the top cover.Clean with a 50/50 ethanol and water and soft cloth CAREFULLY.

Hope this helps

it's looks more like a data line distorted.try change the trailing cable/flexi cable which connects the carriage to the main board.
