ugh... the 64s light looks ugly and fragile...

but i guess it's targeted at those who print little. it will cost less and will not be able to handle heavy media. that's a guess, but that would be a logical thing to do for seiko.

so do i understand correctly that Seiko now will sell 64s Light only and that the current 64s and 100s will be sold as HP 8000 and 9000?

well, instead of 64s LIGHT i would like to see 64s HARDCORE version ;) double the speed, 2 heads per colours, heavy media usage, 2 liter ink tanks for the price of 1 liter ink tank of a regular 64s. now that would be coooooooooool :)

joshie, i think you're right here. it looks light a very "light" printer, and i think you're right on the naming aswell. the on thing i'm curious about is the level of service that hp are going to offer, cos at the moment they stink!!

well, around here they don't stink, because they don't handle it. we have a big dealer of scitex and hp indigo stuff here, so i guess they will also handle the new hp machines.

i've heard some rumours about new HP9000 (colorpainter 64/ CS6060).

it will be sold only by HP and they dealers.

so no more colorpainter or cs6060, only HP9000...

and price will be around 30000 euro...

50% more for same printer...
