Does anyone know of any options I may have for 3rd party archival solvent inks for my Seiko 64S?

Sorry for my ignorance - what are "archival" inks? How do they differ from regular ones?

Hello there

you wont find any solvent based ink distributor that gives a guarantie for its inks for over 2 years without an overlaminate.

With the lamination (either liquid or foil) you can get up to about 7 years outdoor depending on the area that you are in.

Here in europe the triangle scp inks are working alright and I know of 6 machines using them.

At any rate find a distributor that is giving the same head and ink train waranty as the OEM!!!

We do give 3 years outdoor durability gurantee for our inks for Seiko Colorpainter. Ink for Seiko is relatively new product, our ink for Mimaki outperfromed our guarantee even in Arizona where direct sunlight is present almost 365 days a year.
