My mom lives willow wood. She made it into slidell down I-12 getting off at the gause exit and her house had minor damage and lost her fence. The north side of slidell seems to have alot of down trees and wind damage but was not flooded.
My brother in law also went on the same day and their house is off of robert rd behind Domino's Pizza (forgot the name of the sub.) That neighborhood also had alot of down trees and wind damage but no water in the houses.
The news has been saying that slidell would be with out power for 6-12 weeks but my mom spoke with someone that said that willow wood would be one of the first ones to get power back because all the electric was underground.
