Triangle Ink

I'm seriously thinking of switching one of my 64s to triangle ink. Before I make the switch - anyone out there running their ink? I'm afraid of switching due to warranty issues.

Sorry Printerdude, can't enlighten you on that one. Have you done it yet? I'm interested - refer my post Ink- An Issue. Don't know any Seiko users that have taken this bold step yet, but I'm considering it.

I was at ISA and spoke with Seiko directly about ink. They told me that any other ink than their ink will void my head warranty. I'm sticking with what I got for now.

I wouldn't consider it until my warranty was up. Saw these people at the show. Didn't seem to want to talk to a long hair for some reason. Their mistake, you never know who you are talking to. (The people at multicam booth seemed to not take me serious either. Cost them a $72,000 sale.) Ihave several large format printers, vinyl plotters, textile printers, metal fab equipment, wood and cabinet shop, clamshell presses and now adding router table in soon to be 3 locations. I can tell you the Seiko they had at the show was in nasty condition. I would fire a pressman that kept his machine in that condition.Ink all over it and not printing worth a damn. Not a good first impression at all.

Try a clip on sometime and see how people act. I love the look on customer faces when they meet me for the first time and find out I own the joint after doing business with the front office help for awhile. I'll be a short hair soon enough considering my advancing years and receding hairline!

Hello to all, we have been testing the Triangle inks for about 3 months now (in Germany) everything has been running well. At the start there was overspray (cyan) but now everything is fine. Good gamut and we can print on all materials the same as before. I would suggest to flush the system before loading and the overspray doesent happen!!

I am using Triangle inks, and no problems, outside a few color data chip issues,
but Triangle was quick to respond.

Colors seem to be fine, but when it come to PMS specs you have to make adjustments
on any given color anyway.

If you are under warranty, then do not void it by switching inks.

When the warranty expires I recommend 2 or 3 things, regardless of who's inks that you buy.

1. Flush your system with the flush for the previous inks.

2 Depending on who's inks you buy, clear the lines of the old flush with the flush from
your new inks.

3. Bulk Ink Systems will make you or Break You.
I had to remove the Triangle Bulk ink system and go back to cartridges.

My 64s is like a cat with a bad temper,, hisses at everything, but when you feed it what it likes
it is one heck of a War Horse!

You also might want to speak with Vladimere at solventcartridges.com

Good Luck

Something else I noticed in the Triangle Ink Cartridges.

The HPS Series Cartridges are Clearly marked for
Firmware 2 up to 2.10

From what I have (oh duhh) figured out is
the Triangle Inks used to be labeled
SCP for Seiko Color Painter

Now they are
HPS for HP and or Seiko.

My Machine is an SCP 64s (IP6600)
and will Only read the Dedicated Seiko Cartridges.
Marked for Seiko Color Painter 64s and 100s.

If this the machine you have, that is what you need to buy.

The Triangle HP 9000s 10000s Seiko CP 64s and 100s
cartridges wont read on the IP 6600 series.

I am recently aware of a SCP 64s 100s (IP6610) and (IP6620)
and thinking that the HP/Seiko Cartridges will probably work in the 6610 &20 series.
But would contact INx Digital about that.

Hi guys , am in dear need of help . My Oce 6060 that has been on bulk ink system from Solvent cartridges has suddenly rejected the cartridge for magenta .

I have changed every possible cable , ink sensors , ink board , yet the problem is the same .

I bought new chips loaded with colour codes from Solvent cartridges again , the problem persisted and the machine keeps requesting I change Magenta cartridge .

I shifted to my Oce 6100 , but with the same old cartridges loaded with chips and codes from Solvent cartridges of Canada , the new printer also requested I change Magenta cartridge .

I have now decided to try an alternative source of Cartridges , can anyone recommend another good source of ink cartridges for Oce 6060 ?

I have been out of job for weeks , I have lay off staff and I need to resume back to printing . Kindly assist. Regards . Abdul
