After a long extensive test of the Seiko 100s, I have decided it needs to go back. Too many things leaving you in a state of watching the clock tick until something happens, again.
So now I am looking at a Mimaki JV3-250SP (98" model) or the new JV5 available in the next 6-8 weeks, Colorspan 98uvx, Roland RJ 1045 or the new AJ 1000.
I have seen prints from the new Roland AJ 1000 and they are not as good when compared to the Seiko.
The Roland RJ-1045 looks superb. Inks take a couple of days to become hardened, which is a luxury hard to find.
The Colorspan uvx looks pretty good for a uv printer but the inks do not have the pop that a Jeti 3150 does, albiet lots less money than the Jeti.
So what's your vote? Any feedback on reliability & quality would be really appreciated.
