HP9000 v/s Seiko Colorpainter

I own a Seiko Colorpainter64 printer.
I know HP9000 is based in this printer.

I want to know what are the differences between them.

Thank you

9000 uses usb2 instead of scsi, inks were supposed to be different but i think it is exactly the same, er and color.

Features the 540 x 720 4 pass mode that's on the 100S. 20sqm an hour and very good quality, from what I've seen.

Also now under the HP name......HP offer a great offer on the Supportpack 3 year Maintenace pack which covers Printheads as well and is much more competitive then any other machine warranty out there. Total peice of mind from HP..........Go cop a HP9000s for worry free printing and the best quality out there!!!

hp9000 and seiko warranty cost?

i was told the extended warranty on the Hp9000 was $20,000 - we just found out that a one year extended warranty on a seiko machine is $6000 - this tells me a lot about the useful life of one of these machines. If this is incorrect, then what does the 3 year warranty cost on the printer?
