3M IJ40 series

Hi All
We have had our printer for about 4 months now and I find if I print on anything other than 180C and 8 pass 720dpi then i get pretty crappy results. I am trying to reprint a job that was origianally printed on the 180C but now is being done on IJ140 and the gradient on the image is coming through awful....

Anyone install a 64 on a Mac G5

if so, if you can give me any possible problems that may arise, I will possibly be using the Adatec Power Doman 29160 card with Flexi MAC.
