I've just been told (admittedly by the bloke trying to flog me Triangle inks) that Seiko have two different manufacturers for ink. One handles the CMYK range and the other the Light Cyan and Light Magenta.

Hey I dont know if anyones left here, but I am getting mad at my seiko. I was printing fine and it said change black ink, well when I pulled it out it wasnt empty, but I put a new one in anyway, but it still keeps telling me to put change the black ink.... Anyone have this problem?

Ink end at 10%

Anyone that knows how to adjust the ink end warning from 10% left into let say 2% left?
The RIP (Wasatch) gets a message from the printer saying ink is low. There is 10% left in the cartridge. I still have to change it because the RIP won´t allow further printing. I would like to print until there is 1 or 2 %...

Ink Waste

Hello everyone.
My company purchased a Color Painter just over a year ago and have found that the amount of ink waste is far beyond what we had expected.
We have purchased and used about 130 L of ink and now have about 45L of waste.
Is this normal?
I have had to do several Normal and Strong cleaning...
